Highlights
  • Eisenhower Executive Office Building - Harry Truman called it America’s greatest monstrosity. Mark Twain referred to it as the ugliest building in America. Regardless, it is considered the most haunted office building in America, and on this tour you will get to find out why!
  • Decatur House - The home of Stephen Decatur. During his time, he was one of the nation’s most celebrated naval commanders. Many of his political friends were certain that Stephen Decatur would become president. And, who knows, maybe he could have been. But James Barron kind of ruined those chances, and you’re here to find out how!
  • Lafayette Square - Where trees, paths, and statues now lay, these grounds used to house a graveyard, a racetrack, a zoo, and an apple orchard. Some even speculate that a slave market was held here. You can only imagine the wealth of history and hauntings that exist in the illustrious Lafayette Square, but thanks to this tour your imagination won’t be all you have!

Fun adults only ghost tour - We participated in The Dark Nights in D.C Ghost Tour on our trip to DC. We loved that it was adults only. Our guide was very good, he was engaging and funny. We would seek another tour by this company in the future, it was very good.

Great Intro Tour - This was the first thing we did when we got to DC, and it served as a great intro to the city. Allegra, our tour guide, brought a lot of fun energy and told us of many lesser known stories and facts of the places we visited.

Great experience. A must-do in Washington DC. - Highlight of my trip to Washington DC. Michael, our tour guide, was extremely knowledgeable about the history (and the haunted history) of the monuments. He fully grabbed my attention and I honestly would've loved to have listened for another hour. That is how interesting it was. Thank you, Michael, for the wonderful tour.

Just not very good - Just not very good at all. Our guide was new and read most everything she said straight off of her phone.

Horrible no one showed up and I was not notified - Experience was horrible. No one showed up. I called the 800 number and was told by the representative they called me and left a voice message. I have no voice message from anyone. I was told by the representative that she called my number and left a message. I have proof on my phone that no calls ever were received and she said well would you like to reschedule, I said no absolutely not. We are only in DC for two nights not to mention not to mention the $10 cost of a Lyft to the meet up location. She told me that I would be reimbursed for the price of the tickets and it could take up to 10 days. Horrible horrible horrible. There’s no option for zero stars so I had to make it one
