Double your pleasure and experience Uruguay wines! - Ryan arranged an excellent day to visit two very different wineries and Miguel was a wonderful guide, translator and storyteller who kept us informed and entertained. The hosts at each winery were gracious, hospitable, charming and obviously took pride in their wines. We also appreciated the peaceful country settings.

Relaxed day in genuine family wineries - Boutique tour with 3 participants and a tour guide. Organised with industry knowledge and appreciation of the quality of the wines made. A good contrast between the two wineries and wealth of knowledge on the history of the vineyards and their wine making techniques. The light lunch was perfect, the accompanying single bottle vintage Tannat wine was outstanding. This will be one of the days we remember from our S . America trip for many years! Thanks Miguel and Ryan.

One of the best tours I have taken - Ryan coordinated a great trip for our short time in Montevideo. He was really on point with tips on dinner and other sites beyond our booked tour with his company. We ended up booking 2 tours with him. One was a phenomenal 2 winery tour with Javier. Which he was great company. The second was a private city tour with Miguel. In both tours we were enjoying our time that they went longer than planned but we greatly appreciated the personal touch. I will end, booking with Ryan means a memorable experience and enjoyable trip in Uruguay.

Wonderful wine luncheon/winery visit - We were so lucky to find Ryan and the The Wine Experience while visiting Montevideo. We were last minute to search for a winery tour and Ryan was prompt to reply and invite us to a tour he was leading the next day. Ryan is a gifted tour leader, kept the group entertained during the ride to the country and is a great story teller. The winery Ryan took us to visit was exquisite, the wine wonderful and the food paring impressive! Ryan also was kind enough to arrange a subsequent tour for us the following day. Not only did he arrange a driver, he planned a fantastic itinerary for us and surprised us with an English translator. Ryan really understands a great client experience and delivers!

Great Experience! - This experience was the highlight of our trip to Montevideo. It was phenomenal, intimate, and like being among friends. I have done many wine tours in California and this was second to none. Ryan Hamilton knows the wine business inside and out. You will get a real feel of how the process works and how it evolved in Uruguay. Don’t hesitate, book Ryan if you are coming to Montevideo. You will not regret it!

Best tour for real Uruguayan experience - We visited small vineries with excellent products, talked with the owners about their wine and about life in Uruguay. Ryan, our guide is a wine expert and gave us also outstanding gastronomic recommendations in Montevideo. Top experience.

Lovely day out - This was a small group (4 of us) visiting two wineries near Montevideo and guided by Ryan. Locations and wine were glorious and Ryan was informative and good company. I would say this is a must do if you have a day to spare. Extra thanks to Ryan for other recomendaciones on food and drinking places around the town!

If in Uruguay with a half-day to... - <p>If in Uruguay with a half-day to spare, I strongly encourage you to hop on this tour. It is a great way to get out of the city for a few hours and explore several working wineries. You end up with an excellent guide, some gracious hosts 11th and 4th generation owners, and a fun, small crew of others in your group! Great price for all you get to see - and some excellent wine to match!</p>
